The online Master of Arts in Education with TESOL from Asian College of Teachers in academic collaboration with an esteemed International University, is a master degree program providing trainees with advanced knowledge in education with focus on TESOL. The course is designed to strengthen the trainees’ knowledge on psychology and characteristics of today’s learners, importance of digital literacy in 21 st century classrooms, instructional strategies, behavioral management, etc. Besides this, the Master’s program focuses on the varied aspects of English language teaching. Our TESOL curriculum comprises topics on TESOL methodologies, teaching English to young learners as well as adult learners, etc. It develops the competence of trainees to teach learners efficaciously using innovative approaches and strategies. Duration

Complete the full program of study in minimum duration of 12 months and a maximum duration of up to 24 months. After 30 months duration from enrollment date, the trainee would need to pay a maintenance bench fee for additional months of extension.

All fees include tax. Fees include all: Program of study, LMS access, Study Guide, Evaluation and Assessment, Diploma and Transcript. Courier charges apply for Diploma and Transcript dispatch to your country. Certificate Notary and Apostille charges are separate from Europe. Degree is conferred by the esteemed International University and a program participation certification is given by Asian College of Teachers.

Scholarships

Asian College of Teachers offers tuition scholarships and financial aid for its online learning degree programs. The tuition scholarship fund for distance learning degree programs will be granted depending on the policy and the Dean’s office from time to time. Upon request, ACT may offer you: Academic Scholarship, Athletic Scholarship, Creative Scholarships and Community Service Scholarship.

Refund Policy

Once students register for a course, they are responsible for dropping any course they decide not to attend.

• Once you have enrolled in the program and you wish to immediately pull out before any access has been granted - 50% of the tuition fee will be refunded
• No refund for students who have received course access and have already started off with the program from ACT
• Read all Terms and Conditions before making payments
• Processing of refunds make take up to 3 months

Eligibility

Admission to the Master of Arts in Education with TESOL is open to students from all disciplines.

• Recognised Bachelor’s Degree in any field or equivalent level
• Life Experience and prior learning credits are available
• English Level – IELTS Level 5.0 or High School study of all subjects in English or at least 55% marks in English in your High School is desired
• Knowledge of Internet and browsing, MS Word and Online Research Skill are desired

Admission Process

To pursue MA in Education with TESOL, candidates need to apply online. There will be an online application form that the candidate needs to fill up and submit; providing correct email id and phone number for easy communication later. Once the candidate fills up the online application form, s/he will receive the course detail via mail. On enrolment confirmation, the candidate will be informed with course fee payment details that can be paid online using Debit/Credit cards or the candidate may opt for depositing cash, cheque or demand draft. Once the payment is confirmed, the candidate will receive an online application form that needs to be filled and submitted to get the online access of the course.

Course Requirement

Our Master program under Faculty of Education has four distinct parts:

• Part One – Foundation Course which comprises of 10 credits and 2 Subject
• Part Two – Core Program comes with 30 credits and 6 Subjects
• Part Three – Specialization of Subjects comes with 20 credits divided into 4 Specialized subjects
• Part Four – Capstone Project which is a reflective research work comprises of 30 credits

To receive a degree in the program of study, the student must achieve the following:

• Complete and successfully pass Foundation, Core, Specialization and Capstone Project as prescribed in the programme specification.
• Obtain a mark of 50% and above to satisfactorily pass each subject as the Capstone Project.
• Complete the full program of study in minimum duration of 12 months, and a maximum duration of up to 24 months. After 30 month's duration from enrollment date, the student would need to pay a maintenance bench fee for additional months of extension.
• Students can attend 6 Live Online Webinar Sessions during the year and use one of that as a Capstone Project to complete a reflective paper.
